The NOBM outputs are available from the two following sources:

  1) Giovanni website: easy to use web interface that allows the user to choose the area, time period (data available from 1997 until 2015) and variables of interest before downloading the data in various formats or plotting them directly. The NOBM data are available as daily (NOBM_DAY) or monthly (NOBM_MONTH). The model was forced by MERRA and ocean chlorophyll data from SeaWiFS was assimilated.

  2) The monthly data can also be downloaded from the GMAO website (data available in netcdf format from 1998 until 2017, see Readme document for more information). Note that the daily data are only available through the Giovanni website. The model was forced by MERRA and ocean chlorophyll data from SeaWiFS was assimilated.
