GEOS FP to be Updated on July 30, 2020

GEOS-FP users,
The GMAO will be updating the GEOS-FP version from 5.25.1p5 to 5.25.1p7 on Thursday July 30, 2020 on the 06 UTC assimilation cycle. This patch includes no changes to the science of the system. It is an engineering patch to allow production to move to new versions of the operating system and the compilers. The version designation in the metadata will update to reflect this change.
This upgrade will not result in any other changes to the file specification, formats, or access methods for GEOS FP data.
