GEOS forecast of Total Precipitable Water (TPW) from former Hurricane Ida

The GMAO's Goddard Earth Observing System (GEOS) forecast of Total Precipitable Water (TPW) from Hurricane Ida, which is predicted to hit Louisiana on Sunday, August 29. TPW represents the total integrated moisture in the atmospheric column from the surface to the top of the atmosphere; or more simply, the total amount of water vapor in the atmosphere. This forecast is from August 27 to September 6.
