Processing Steps Assign a station identification number (stn_id) to each profile based on the WMO number (stn_name) where applicable. For TAO and PIRATA moorings: if the position is incorrect, the profile is discarded. QC Flags are set to good, tqc_prf = 1 and tqc_lev = 1 Assign basin identification numbers (ibas_spc, ibas_gen) based on position. Assign field identification numbers (field_id_spc, field_id_gen) based on stn_id. Profiles with less than three levels are discarded.
