Workshop on Sensitivity Analysis and Data Assimilation in Meteorology and Oceanography

1–5 June 2015, Stonewall Resort
Roanoke, West Virginia, USA

Student Support:

Funding for student attendence at the workshop has been generously provided by the National Science Foundation and by the European Geosciences Union.

Funds will be available for a limited number of students and postdocs to provide partial travel support (primarily the local expenses). Airfare and ground transportation will not be supported. A brief set of pre-workshop tutorials describing some fundamentals not generally presented elsewhere will be offered on Sunday 31 May to help novices in the field to spin up their understanding. Workshop supported students and postdocs will be expected to attend these tutorials.

All current funds have been allocated, and all student applicants have been contacted. Any further applications will be placed on a wait list. If you are a student or postdoc requesting travel support from the workshop, include the name of your institution, (expected) degree date, and topic of study.
